Different Metal Materials

Copper:
It’s the necessary material for the hard enamel. It’s also suitable for die struck imitation hard enamel, die struck soft enamel or die struck without coloring if the clients insist on. But generally, for the cost consideration, bronze would be a good substitutes.
Strength – With the best ductility and quality.
Can present the 3D or detail effect best among all kinds of die struck items.

Bronze:
Suitable for die struck imitation hard enamel, die struck soft enamel, photo etched soft enamel, die struck without coloring, silkscreen or offset printing.
Strength – With high quality looking at a lower price than copper material.

Iron:
Suitable for die struck imitation hard enamel without stoning and die struck soft enamel.
Strength – Even cheaper than bronze material but with similar looking after plating and polishing.

Aluminum:
Suitable for die struck imitation hard enamel, die struck soft enamel, photo etched soft enamel, silkscreen or offset printing
Strength — No need for extra plating and it’s the cheapest material.

Stainless iron:
Suitable for photo etched soft enamel and silkscreen or offset printing
Strength – No need for extra plating and cost would be much more economic but with also heavy weight effect which might enhance the quality feel.

Zinc alloy:
Suitable for imitation hard enamel, soft enamel or without coloring
Strength — Economic cost and can present the 3-D effect the best.

Low-Temp Zinc alloy:
Suitable for imitation hard enamel without stoning or without coloring
Strength — Combined the strength of the common zinc alloy and pewter

Pewter:
Suitable for imitation hard enamel, soft enamel or without coloring
Strength – Could present the goods with many small cutouts or very obvious full 3-D effect.
