Custom Die Struck Pins

What is a die-struck pin?

Die-struck pins are a type of decorative pin that features intricate details and designs. They are made by striking metal against a die, which is a metal stamp with a specific design. This process allows for precise and detailed designs to be reproduced on the pin. Die-struck pins are often used as collectibles, awards, and souvenirs. They can feature various designs, such as logos, symbols, and images, making them a unique and personalized way to commemorate special occasions or events.

The process to create Die Struck Lapel Pins begins with the creation of a custom die of your lapel pin design. Then a sheet of copper, brass, or iron is stamped using the die, which creates a deep impression of your design in the metal.

Cut-to-shape molds are made separately and used to stamp out the pin design impressions in the outline of the finished design. Plating the pins comes next. For this type of pin, the most common platings are high polished gold, nickel (silver), black nickel, and copper.

Feature of die stamped product: Common materials like iron, bronze & aluminum, Obvious bump surface.

Die struck pins are the most popular choice for years of service pins and achievement pins meant to be worn daily on a uniform. Their clean classic all-metal appearance makes it easy for them to be worn with outfits or uniforms and avoid any clash of color. When made with one of our antique metal platings, die struck pins are also some of the most legible pins. While corporate color and design standards change, a die struck pin will continue to look good and not out place throughout these.
