Custom Trading Pins

Custom trading pins are a unique and creative way to showcase your personality, team spirit, or brand identity. These small, oval-shaped pins can be designed with various materials, such as metal, enamel, or epoxy, and feature intricate details, logos, or artwork. They are often used in trading card games, sports, and other hobbies, where collectors and enthusiasts exchange pins as a form of currency or to show off their collections. With custom designs and secure lamination, trading pins make a great marketing tool, custom gift, or collectible item.

Trading pins are for more than baseball

Trading Pins are now a popular part of many sports and even problem-solving competitions like Odyssey of the Mind and Destination Imagination.

They still are most popular where they got their start though — baseball and softball. At every level of the sport, baseball trading pins are a popular part of the game. It’s never been easier to create eye-catching designs your team will be proud to wear. Add-ons such as glitter paint or danglers make your trading pins even more valuable to your players and other teams.

Dangler style is a secondary pin that hangs off of the main pin. Danglers are essentially a second custom made pin designed to accent the design. They are one of the more traditional pin additions, but are still popular and highly tradable today.

Spinner style is a second pin that is attached through a hole in the main pin and capped off, allowing it to spin freely in a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction.

A blinking LED light is used to create the blinking effect. A small light bulb (LED) is placed on the pin and connected to a small battery attachment on the back. The bulb begins to blink when turned on using a small button.

A mixture of colored glitter and paint enamel is added to the recessed areas of your pin and then coated with an epoxy dome to protect the glitter and add a shine and sparkle effect.

Bobble heads are secondary pins that are connected to the main lapel pin using a spring attachment instead of a chain. The spring enables the “bobbling” action of the pin. Make a head bobble or have your logo spring off the outline of your state.

Sliders are secondary pins that are attached to a main pin via a cut-out sliding slot. The secondary pin is able to slide a short distance along the main pin, adding movement to the design.

How Our Process Works

  1. The first step to getting custom trading pins is simply send us your idea. It can be a sketch, photo, or logos in AI, EPS, or PDF formats.
  2. After you give us your design idea, we will then create a proof and we work with you until we get your approval.
  3. Your approved artwork will be sent to our custom lapel pin production line where we will machine a custom lapel pin mould to begin the production process! The complete process usually takes 10-14 days after you confirm our artwork proof and order sheet.
  4. Once your lapel pins are completed and pass quality-control, they are packed and shipped.
